My husband will tell you that my goal for the past few Father's Days has been to make him cry, and he's not exactly wrong. I like to create cute photo opportunities for my kids and I've been known to interview them about how much they love their dad. So you see that my real goal is to make my husband feel loved and appreciated, and tears are just the icing on the cake.
I just wish I could bottle up our kids' absolute adoration for their dad so that we'll remember it even when they're teenagers rebelling against us.
With Father's Day coming up, I thought I'd share this video I created for him last year (editing late at night after he was in bed). While I've been shooting still photos for many years, I'm newer to videography. The thing I like is how video allows me to remember little details about my kiddos -- like their sweet voices and the way they misprounce words. My babies are growing up way too fast!
