The awesome folks at Metro Parent magazine reached out to me again to take part in a fun photo shoot. You'll remember my son was featured on their cover a few months back, and it was a fantastic experience all around.
The idea for this shoot was to take items that parents are likely to have around the house and create costume ideas. I loved the idea because I love Halloween and dressing up, and I am also a huge fan of anything that takes the stress out of a holiday.
I found a beautiful natural light studio we could rent in Southeast Portland and the whole team from Metro Parent showed up to wrangle kids, outfits, the freight elevator and my reflector. It was so nice to partner with them and have so many extra hands on the set. I felt especially pampered this time around because as a longtime journalist, this was one of the first time I didn't have to write the feature that accompanied the photos. I didn't even write captions! (Great job on both accounts, Denise!) Click here to read the article.
The feature turned out lovely and I am left feeling super grateful for the chance to work with this wonderful group. Scroll below to check out some super cute kiddos!
